I was born into a bird dog family. My father, Cecil Turner, has been raising and training birddogs since I can remember. I grew up planting birds and cleaning kennels. I learned at a young age this was a hard way to make a living. Dad and I would be in the fields at 5:00 a.m. every morning working dogs. A couple of hours later he would leave for his 'real job'.

As a young man I followed his lead and began training dogs while working a 'real job'. A divorce soon separated me from my kennels and training grounds. I pursued my 'real job' and built a pretty successful business called TBI Companies.

I am lucky enough to have some hard working and very loyal employees at TBI. This affords me the time to pursue what I really enjoy, raising and training dogs.
